José Pedro — Founder & Creative Director

José Pedro founded Your New Brand with a conviction that has guided every project since: the best brands are the ones that feel human. With over fifteen years navigating the intersection of visual communication, brand strategy, and creative production, he brings a rare ability to see both the big picture and the telling detail. His background spans art direction, editorial design, and multimedia production, and his approach is rooted in listening — to clients, to markets, and to the stories that connect them. Based in Guimarães, he leads YNB with the belief that Portuguese creativity deserves a global stage.

Carlos Matos — Lead Developer

Carlos is the architect behind the digital experiences YNB builds. With deep expertise in front-end and back-end development, he approaches every project as a problem to solve elegantly — whether it’s a high-performance e-commerce platform, a Progressive Web App, or a complex system integration. He is particularly passionate about the point where technology becomes invisible: when a website works so intuitively that users forget they’re using one. His technical rigour and quiet persistence make him the person the team trusts to turn ambitious concepts into functional, scalable realities.

Bruno Pereira — Developer

Bruno brings a sharp eye for clean code and an instinct for user experience to every project he touches. Working closely with Carlos, he specializes in responsive design, interface development, and performance optimization. He thrives in the space between design and engineering, translating visual concepts into pixel-perfect, fast-loading digital products. His curiosity keeps him at the forefront of emerging web technologies, and his collaborative nature makes him a natural bridge between the creative and technical sides of the studio.

Carolina Almeida — Communication Designer

Carolina sees design as a conversation. Every visual identity, every layout, every colour palette she creates is shaped by a deep understanding of who the brand is speaking to and what it needs to say. Her work spans branding, editorial design, packaging, and digital assets, always guided by a principle of clarity with character. She has a particular talent for distilling complex brand narratives into visual systems that feel both distinctive and timeless — the kind of design that doesn’t just look good today but grows stronger with the brand over time.

Pedro Lima — Media Executive Producer

Pedro orchestrates every visual production at YNB with the calm precision of someone who has spent years behind the camera and in the editing suite. As Media Executive Producer, he oversees photography and video projects from pre-production planning through to final delivery, ensuring that every shoot runs smoothly and every frame meets the studio’s standards. His experience in fashion, product, and architectural photography gives him a versatile visual vocabulary, and his understanding of lighting, composition, and mood allows him to craft images that genuinely tell a brand’s story.

Inês Pena — Copy Editor & Social Media Manager

Inês is the voice behind the brands YNB represents. As both copy editor and social media strategist, she shapes the words and narratives that give visual work its context and meaning. She understands that effective communication isn’t about saying more — it’s about saying the right thing, in the right way, at the right moment. Her editorial precision ensures that every text, caption, and campaign message is consistent, engaging, and aligned with each brand’s identity. She manages social media not as a broadcasting channel but as a space for genuine conversation between brands and their audiences.
